N04 M.2 2280 PCIe to NVMe Top Extension Adapter Board doesn't boot

  I was following guidance from https://wiki.52pi.com/index.php?title=EP-0210
      doesn't boot after reboot!
     booting from SD-card works

  I was trying to use network-boot (did wipe SSD before) - did install Raspberry OS
      doesn't boot after reboot!

     diagnostic screen is showing
        NVME on 0
        Trying partition: 0
       Unable to read partition as FAT...
       .....
        nvme: error 8
        Failed to open device "nvme"

  any help?

   

  PS: SSD I am using is WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD
