52pi N04 NVMe working with PiOS, ^Win11

  Am I doing something wrong.  I can get my NVMe 1tb drive working over the PCIe interface version 2 and 3 when using PiOS (Debian).  When I try to install Windows 11 to as an USB drive with my 1tb NVMe it works (usb to gigethernet hardcoded to 1gb/full).  But not when I try installing Windows 11 over the PCIe interface.  Key diff is the use of uefi v0.3.  Help!
