- Would this device isolate 5v devices from each other
Would this device isolate 5v devices from each other
-
Example one: - Connecting a PC to a PC via USB would the USB Isolator isolate the 5v but let the signal through each way.
Example 2 Connect two PCs into a 5v powered hub which in turn also hosts a USB SSD. Would your USB isolater be suitable for that scenario. ( Data clashes would be dealt with by an external managed process.)0 likes 0 likes

This isolation is designed to prevent damage to USB devices caused by a "bad USB" that could lead to a short circuit, potentially burning out the USB port of the device. Its purpose is to protect your USB device from burning out due to a short circuit or overload. In the event of a short circuit, it will automatically disconnect the USB device, ensuring the safety of the USB host's interface.
